Sunday, October 3, 2027
Would you like to be part of the excitement of the day but don't want to run? Why not volunteer to be part of the race crew and help make the event a success? It takes hundreds of people to ensure the event runs smoothly, so becoming a Jersey Marathon volunteer means you play an active role in the overall success of the event, whilst also allowing you to support your friends, family and charity teams.
Positions that need filling on the day are:
Course Marshals- making sure the runners stay safely on the course. We require approximately 160 volunteer marshals to operate the event safely, so please support the event and its good causes.
The course is split into five sections, each colour-coded on the map below, with its own approximate start and finish time. Please note which section, or specific area, you would like to be allocated to when signing up.
*Please note some Section 1 volunteers will also be allocated to Section 5 later in the day.

Start / Finish Stewards- counting them out and counting them back in! We require approximately 20 volunteers to assist at the start and finish.
You don't need any experience to take part in the Jersey Marathon as a volunteer. You just need between 4-7 hours free on Race Day and be willing to join in the fun. We will provide full training and packed breakfast/lunch.
Volunteers should be over the age of 18 on the day of the race or should be part of a recognised group under the supervision of a leader over the age of 18.
There will be a volunteer briefing on Tuesday 28 September 2027, more information on this will be shared soon.
Thank you for helping us make the 2027 Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon a day to remember for every runner!
