Location

The Studio
67 Hope St, Glasgow, G2 6AE United Kingdom

The studio is located on level 8 and 9 of 67 Hope Street. The building is directly opposite Central Station. It is a glass fronted building with “sixty7” written on the glass in white lettering. You should enter the building by the front doors, pushing the door. Please make your way to level 8 to the Studio reception.

Pick up and drop off points

Please note that this end of Hope street is particularly busy with traffic, and that there is a bus gate on this section of the street which makes stopping on Hope Street difficult. If you require to be dropped-off or collected when visiting the Studio we suggest you use parking bays which are located on Waterloo street, next to the SSE Building, two doors up from Studio. When out of the car, walk towards Hope Street and turn right at the SSE Building, towards the river Clyde and travel past the SSE Building and Pure Gym. We are next door to Pure Gym. It is minimum of 11 meters from the first drop off point available on Waterloo street to the corner of Waterloo and Hope street. It is a further 25 meters approx. from this point to our door. If traffic allows or your driver is confident to do so, you may be able to be dropped directly at the door, which will significantly reduce these distances, however we cannot guarantee that this will be possible. If you are attending an event and require further information about parking arrangements please see our website

Stairs and lifts

There are stairs to all floors of the building. Stairs have a handrail at each side, but landings have no handrails. Stairs are located through the door on the left-hand side of the lifts (as you look at the lifts) There are: 21 steps between each floor and the one above/below, separated by one landing. Lifts are available to access all areas of the building visitors may need to reach. All lifts have spoken destination information. From the main entrance door to the lifts it is between 2-6 meters distance. Stairways and the lift lobby on level 8 and 9 are fronted by floor to ceiling windows, which may startle you when exiting the lift/stairwell.

Accessing level 8 and 9

At each level, access into our domain is between 2-4 meters from where you reach the floor. To access the floor, pull the door towards you and enter the floor. Please be aware of the ramp on the floor at the threshold. On level 8 there is a reception desk to the left-hand side, where staff will guide you to the correct room. On level 9 there is no reception desk however the organiser of your event may have a registration desk which you should use. Distance between rooms and floors is minimal and can be accessed by lift or stair, however there are areas where delegates can stop and rest if required in our shared areas Refill (level 8) and Rest (level 9).

Wheelchairs

The building is fully accessible to people using wheelchairs.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets on both floors of Studio. Assistance dogs Assistance dogs are permitted within the studio floors. Water bowls can be obtained from any member of staff.

Hearing loops

Hearing loops are not installed in Studio. Delegates and guests to the studio should contact their event organiser to discuss their need for hearing loops.
