The Anthem Way: Leading Assessment at Subject Level - using the Anthem assessment principles and the new assessment policy.

This 3 part course will use the Anthem assessment principles and the new primary and secondary assessment policies as frameworks to develop participants’ skills and understanding of leadership of assessment at subject level. Participants will be supported to write and develop valid, reliable assessments in line with the new assessment policy. It is aimed at existing curriculum and subject leaders as well as aspiring curriculum and subject leaders agreed by HTs. SCP Leads may also support sessions from a subject specific perspective.  The course will include leading both formative assessment and summative assessment and for secondary it will include design using Smartgrade. 

The 3 sessions are as follows;

• 1 in person day: 11th December, 10:00-16:00, at Gladstone Park Primary School.
• 2 online sessions: 30th January, 16:30-18:00 and 13th May, 16:30-18:00
• plus, 1 in-school impact visit from the ESC team.
