The Anthem Way: Overseas trained teachers and unqualified teachers

This course will use The Anthem Way and further strategies from Teach Like a Champion to support overseas trained teachers and unqualified teachers in their transition to the UK classroom. It will focus initially on strategies to develop consistency with behaviour, relationships and routines and later sessions will focus on curriculum and assessment awareness. This course is compulsory for all unqualified teachers or teachers joining from overseas in Sept 2024. Headteachers can also refer other staff who may benefit.

The 5 evening online sessions are as follows;

•  14:45-16:45 on 10th September, 18th September, 2nd October, 15th October and 27th November.
