What you need to know

Fusion is a brand new and fresh approach to business networking, in the heart of Derby city.

Hosted by the stylish Genting Club Riverlights, Fusion events promise delicious food, great company and topical talks by key influencers in Derby, always on key subjects of relevance to Derby commerce, business and regeneration.

Our format is a unique combination of relaxed and formal, combining a drinks reception at the bar for open networking; followed by a sit down two course lunch and finally coffee, while our guest speaker addresses the room.

There are no sales pitches and no 'one minute introductions'; instead Fusion provides an enjoyable and relaxed environment in which to get to know fellow guests, enjoy a delicious lunch in a modern venue and hear about the business and success stories that matter in Derby.

For our September event, we'll be hearing from Adam Buss, CEO of Derby Quad. Passionate about communications, the arts and equality of opportunity for all; Adam will be reflecting on his experience working for companies like Sony, Air France and Orange as well as his current role at QUAD and addressing why he thinks we need to ‘care before we strategise’. Don’t miss an insightful and thought provoking talk from one of Derby’s most successful, creative minds.

Please note: this event is strictly over 18s only, due to casino licensing laws.
