Artemis is a skill sharing retreat in a Tudor manor for under represented genders. It takes place in Somerset, UK over four days in June.
In order to register you need to have completed the register interest form, or confirmed your email address with us so we can invite you to enroll. Places are limited and it sells out quickly, you will be contacted via email if a place becomes available.
Started in 2026 as an event for women and gender non conforming folk in the historical Fencing community, we bring together people who want a place to learn that feels safe, friendly, and devoted to personal excellence.

Attendees are encouraged to share their knowledge by providing an informal workshop, activity or talk on a topic of their choice, it doesn’t have to be about HEMA. Some examples of previous classes and presentations: creative writing, bee conservation, partisan, burlesque, braids and updos, jewellery making, tomahawk and Bowie knife, embroidery, and stage combat.

By providing instruction on multiple disciplines in a relaxed and encouraging environment, Artemis empowers you to begin or further your interests in an environment where you can be yourself, and better yourself.
