Chilled Cider heads to West Dorset this summer for a weekend ‘Nectar’ event at our wonderful new orchard venue, not far from the lively market town of Bridport and the Jurassic Coast. Arrival is from 4pm on Friday July 7th and we'll be going through until late afternoon on Sunday July 9th. Camping is limited (70 max).

Orchard Tent Pitches are spacious, 16ft wide by about 150ft down your very own row of apple trees.  Looking from your pitch is a long uninterrupted view down the row of trees, adding to the feeling of privacy and seclusion.

Dorset Nectar Cider Farm is a working organically managed cider orchard and cider producer.  They harvest their apples in the autumn and make superb proper cider.   

We operate a "leave no trace" standard for our Adults Only Age 20+ seasonal tent camping. We have assembled an exciting and varied line-up of chilled, eclectic music:

Facilities:

• 3 x Toilets and 2 x Showers (cleaned and sterilised 4 times daily)
• 3 x water points
• Hot water washing up area/sinks 
• Raised fire pits available for personal BBQ at your pitch
• Wifi available around the Tasting room and Cider Garden and multiple charging plugs.
• Large Cider/Sculpture garden with  Communal BBQ area, benches and pizza oven you can use if you wish
• Communal Campfire
• Cider Farm Tasting Room and Shop offering a range of 12+ ciders, apple juice, craft beers and apple cider vinegar all made on site, as well as local honey, chilli sauces, marshmallows, wood, kindling, ice cream & more
• Oliver`s Mobile kitchen will be cooking veggie and a chicken paella, burgers/sausages etc.
• No dogs on site.

The Chilled Cider weekend became a summer folk tradition over 17 years at Purbeck's Square and Compass and has traditionally offered a lively mix of fireside sessions, eclectic DJ sets and conversations with friends, old and new. We are looking forward to meeting again in the orchard.

There will be a bar stocking local ciders and craft ales. Choose from the selection of award winning traditional organic artisan ciders - from the vintage dry 'Old Harry Rock' to the heady sweetness of a Sweet Maiden cider, or a crisp medium dry 'Top o' the Hill' cider.  All the orchard's delicious ciders are made using sun ripened cider apples grown on this delightful West Dorset Cider Farm.

Local attractions include West Bay, Eype, Seatown, Freshwater, Hive Beach, Charmouth, West Bexington and Lyme Regis beach, if you'd like to extend your trip.
