By booking tickets, you agree to the terms & conditions and privacy policies set by:

Carymoor Environmental Trust

Just Act Natural: be in nature, be yourself is a partnership part funded by a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund.

In order to qualify for these events, you must live in the Southwest of England including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, BCP area and can only attend one day visit and one overnight stay in a 6 month period.  Your booking will be cancelled if this is not the case.

 

Feedback

By booking and attending this event you agree to provide feedback on the event at the end of each event (or 1 week after) and 6 weeks after the event.

 

Cancellation and Non-attendance

If you are unable to make the event for whatever reason, please phone us on 01963 350143 or email: administrator@carymoor.org.uk to let us know, so we aren't waiting for you to arrive. 


Cancellations within 2 weeks of the event will be non-refundable.  Refunds for cancellations before this time are subject to your place being filled.
 

Insurance 

Carymoor recommends you take out trip insurance to cover every eventuality.  The client is liable for any loss or damage to Carymoor property, buildings or land caused by any member of their group, no liability can be accepted by Carymoor for any damage to or loss of personal property. 

 

Discipline & Supervision

You are responsible for the behaviour and wellbeing of your family, ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to.  Carymoor reserves the right to terminate activities if there is inadequate supervision or poor discipline. Carymoor is based on a former landfill site therefore all visitors must be always accompanied by a group leader or member of Carymoor Staff.  Many areas of the capped landfill are dangerous for unaccompanied visitors, please only go in the areas that have been shown to you, and stay with our members of staff when conducting site tours.

  

Special requirements, disabilities, and behaviour

It is the responsibility of all visitors to inform Carymoor prior to your visit of any medical conditions or dietary requirements that may relate to members of the group, this includes detailed descriptions of any disability and any behaviour strategies used.  We cannot be held responsible if we have not been informed in advance of such requirements. 

 

Photographs and Social Media

We may take photographs/videos of your group while they are with us, these may be used by Magdalen and Carymoor for our website and other promotional publicity, it may also be shared with our funder.  Please let us know if anyone in the group cannot be photographed/ videoed.

If you wish to take photographs containing members of other families during your visit, then please ask the rest of the group for their consent and respect their response.

 

 Information about kit

You will be sent an itinerary with important information about your trip prior to your visit, including what to bring on each session, and organisational requirements.        


Other useful information

There is a  speed limit of 10mph on site which must be adhered to when arriving and leaving the site.
