About Us
Carymoor is an environmental charity providing inspiring education to primary schools groups, supporting adults with learning difficulties and running rural craft courses for adults. We do all this from our nature reserve and eco buildings.
Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible from all walks of life to enjoy the great outdoors.
Our buildings are fully accessible and most of the reserve is level.
On-site we have 2 all-terrain wheelchairs (bookable in advance) to help those less able guests to get around the site.
We also have two accessible toilets (please bring your own hoist if required).
Tickets are priced at £7.00 per person. Under 2's are free but still require a ticket.
Please book a wheelchair ticket to reserve an all-terrain moblity scooter.
There will be a maximum of 30 people on each event.
If you are suffering financial hardship please contact us on 01963 350143 or email administrator@carymoor.org.uk to enquire about our bursary.
We will provide refreshments when you arrive but please bring a packed lunch for your family which you can eat in our centre building or outside in the reserve.
The event will run whatever the weather so please do come prepared for whatever the British weather may throw at us. We do have a few spare sets of welly boots if needed.
Full details will be sent to you in advance.
Please note: These events are for families living in South West England who have children/young people under 25 with a learning or physical disability. Children under two are free but must have a ticket. There will be a maximum of 30 people at each event.
The events are part funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
