Specifically designed for existing DSL & DDSLs in CIT, this event is led by safeguarding education consultants Simon Genders and Anne Prideaux. It helps to meet the two-year mandatory refresher training requirement in:

"Keeping Children Safe in Education"

Local Safeguarding Children Partnership procedures.

The annual training event ensures that all safeguarding leads stay up-to-date with the latest practices, policies, and legislative changes. This essential session not only provides the opportunity for DSLs and DDSLs to network and share experiences but also to discuss common challenges and solutions. Maintaining continuous improvement and adhering to updated practices are key priorities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone under the Trust's care.
