Description: This Two session course offers a simple introduction to the main principles and practicalities of Catechesis.
* What is Catechesis and how do you do it?
* What are the key skills needed and what skills are transferable?
* What is the role of the Catechist? How does the Church see the role of the lay Catechist?
* The person of the Catechist- How do we grow in the vocation of being a Catechist?
* Practical advice for preparing the learning environment.
* Help Catechists understand the role of discipline.
* Tools to help evaluate all Catechetical programmes.
