-Your ticket also gets you fed, with a choice of Vegan Curry, Meaty Chilli or Pizza. Yum!
Beers
- Fizz is on us for the celebratory moment of midnight. We will also have the cheap and cheerful CASH bar to quench your thirst!
Weird and Wonderful Hat Competition!
- Everyone likes to get a bit crazy right? Bring – Or- Make your own fancy, freaky hat! Best head dressed will be rewarded.
Families
- New Year’s isn’t just for the adults to get messy; we understand that it’s also a family affair. Children are more than welcome; there is even a little a park!

- Malt Kiln Village Hall, Well Lane, Bardsea C/O Kirk Gate, Main Street, Bardsea, Ulverston, LA12 9QT (Will be sign posted. Look out for the twinkly lights!)
The Midnight Hour:
The clock is ticking away, counting down to the last midnight of 2018. The question is how will you be saying goodbye to 2018? And how will you be welcoming the New Year? Will you be at home wrapped in a blanket watching fireworks on telly? Or will you be spending it in in the rural town of Bardsea in the barn-like hall that is the Malt Kiln, dancing your socks off to quality music with your nearest and dearest?
Here’s what we propose; Come join us for a magical evening that promises a wonderful way to bring in your new year. We will feed you, water you and lather you festive festival feels! With a variety of top quality live music brought to you by Dansi, Atomic Brass Band, Meetwood Flac, Paper Cranes, Cassie, Sad-Eyed Puffins and Anne-Marie Sanderson, We will keep you constantly entertained.
The Midnight Hour idea was born from a group of close friends, mostly musicians who spend each New Year’s Eve gigging away and apart. For the first year we plan to all be in one place, bringing it in all together. This is the idea we wish to share! Tickets are very limited so get them while you can!
