This three hour workshop will be an exploration as to how we can create a visual narrative by making physical choices using different movement styles and building block principles.Working from a central stimulus the session will be a big playground for participants to explore movement and ‘physical theatre’ in its broadest sense so they can apply some of these ideas to their own work as devisors creators or performers.

This is a highly physical session so please come ready to move. If you are nervous about coming back into rooms again, please be reassured that social distancing measures in line with the time will be in place.

Phoebe is a movement director (Associate member of the MDA) and physical theatre performer/dancer as well as yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals.  After training in Acting at GSA she has gone on to specifically work/train with Gecko, Lecoq, Complicité and Frantic Assembly. Phoebe draws from her experience with these various companies throughout her practice and sharing of work.

To be able to participate in this workshop, all attendees will be asked to provide a Lateral Flow Test result before entering the building. These tests can be done in a local testing centre near you (find the nearest @ https://www.gov.uk/find-covid-19-lateral-flow-test-site) or they can be ordered for free on the gov.uk website.
Please note: Lateral Flow Test result should be taken and submitted a maximum of 3 days before the event start, and sent to office@fourthmonkey.co.uk.
Entry without a Lateral Flow Test result will not be permitted, and your ticket will be invalidated without a refund.
