What you need to know

How does something as niche as jelly become a successful business and get you working with Coca-Cola, Gucci and Mercedes? To find out, we invited Sam Bompas, modern Willy Wonka and Co-Founder of Bompas & Parr.

The interview will be held in Zoom. Register here receive your link: https://fla.wiki/4qXhT2l

It all started 19 years ago, when Sam Bompas and Harry Parr spotted a gap in the market of British jelly goods. After London’s Borough Market rejected their jelly stall idea, they started Bompas & Parr with jelly at its heart. Since then, the business has grown into a fully-fledged creative studio offering whimsical multi-sensory experiences designed around food and drinks. They're behind the jelly replica of the iconic Harrods building in London, gin-infused cloud for Alcoholic Architecture, Guinness tasting rooms and even the world's first non-melting ice lolly.

As a Co-Founder, Sam helped grow Bompas & Parr from 2 to 30 people and build a network of microbiologists, chefs, chemists, musicians and artists who help Bompas & Parr create genuine world firsts.

WE WILL DISCUSS

  • How to find a gap in a crowded market and build a successful business
  • What role do taste and smell play in building a brand
  • Where Bompas & Parr find inspiration for their most whimsical ideas
