Interview with Ivo Gormley, Founder of GoodGym, on how he built and scaled GoodGym into a national movement that helps make cities greener, less lonely, and better connected.
GoodGym is a platform that connects runners, walkers, and cyclists with physical tasks which benefit their community. They have 25,000 active members completing over 390,000 tasks and community projects across 60 cities.
Ivo built GoodGym into a financially sustainable organisation without compromising its mission. Local authorities and the NHS now commission GoodGym directly, paying to bring it into new areas, which is proof that social good, when designed well, can become a product people and institutions actively pay for.
How do you design a product where the social impact is the value proposition? And how do you scale it without losing the human connection at its heart? Join us for a live conversation with Ivo to find out.
We will discuss:
The event is for:
Creative Directors, Heads of Design, Architects and Founders.
Which design and leadership decisions took GoodGym from one runner in Hackney to 60 cities across the UK
What it takes to lead an organisation whose core product is human connection
How making “doing good” fun and accessible drove GoodGym's growth
