The wait is over—our plants are ready for their new homes, and the field is alive with a golden sea of dandelions! To honour this radiant moment in the season, we welcome you to gather with us in joy, reverence, and community at the Humble Dandelion Festival.

🌱10:30-11:30 Wild Edible Workshop + Q&A with The Great Telsing Andrews

Guided by passionate seed steward and plant enthusiast Telsing Andrews, this workshop invites you to learn the art of honourable harvesting, deepen your relationship with local plant relatives, and explore the flavors and benefits of often-overlooked wild edibles.

Whether you're new to foraging or looking to deepen your plant kinship, this is an invitation to taste the land, root your knowledge, and awaken a wilder way of knowing.

Grace offers a soul-stirring performance that feels both grounding and expansive. With every note, she weaves together reflection and emotion, inviting listeners into a shared journey of heart and harmony. Her songs speak gently to the human experience of longing, beauty, belonging—and offer a space to pause, breathe, and feel.

About Our Gifted Presenters


Telsing Andrews is a passionate seed steward and plant breeder rooted in the Ottawa area. She nurtures edible plant diversity while advocating for open-access seeds and sustainable growing practices. Telsing’s deep respect for the natural world shines through her commitment to preserving plant genetics, empowering growers, and reconnecting communities with the living intelligence of seeds.


Grace Alguire, lead singer of Soul Dive, grew up in the riverside village of Kars, where her love for music first took root. After completing her studies, she set off in 2021 to explore the world—only to rediscover the same deep musical passion that had shaped her childhood.

With a soulful voice and introspective lyrics, Grace shares songs that are both personal and expansive. Her music is a journey—an offering of emotion, reflection, and connection that invites listeners to dive deep alongside her.


This is a celebration for all ages, for foragers and plant-lovers, crafters and caretakers, families and friends. Come reconnect with nature and each other in a space that honours plants like the humble dandelion and all the teachings it carries: resilience, nourishment, abundance.
