Just when you thought garlic season was over... We are coming at you with some finger licking, garlicky community fun! 

You are invited to come make some homemade fresh organic garlic paste with us on Sunday, April 7th at Gaia Farm! We will be sorting, shelling, chopping, whizzing and jarring up some garlic for your spring culinary pleasure, and your immunity boosting needs - just what the doctor ordered, or should we say the kitchen witch! 

We will be preparing the paste with our 2023 organic garlic harvests and olive oil so that it can be preserved for 1 week in the refrigerator, or indeterminately in the freezer. Hint: Freezing it in ice cube trays makes for excellent storage and easy access when cooking all throughout the year. 

All ingredients for the paste will be provided, as well as wildcrafted herbal tea and some music. We ask that participants bring their own recycled jars and containers to bring home some paste, as well as their own knives and cutting boards for chopping. Food processors will be available for use, courtesy of the farm team. The event will be held inside our greenhouse, so please wear weather appropriate clothing and outdoor shoes! 

All ages are welcome, provided they have been properly educated on safe use of knives. Maximum amount of participants is 20 so make haste if you want to make the paste - registration is required in order to participate!
