Policy Modelling for Health (HealthMod) Full Team Meeting 07-08 October 2026

Wednesday, October 7, 2026 – Thursday, October 8, 2026
Maldron Hotel, Glasgow, United Kingdom

What you need to know

We are pleased to extend this invitation to all team members to join us at the Maldron Hotel, Glasgow on Wednesday 07 and Thursday 08 October 2026.

This is the second of our two in-person team meetings for 2026. It's an opportunity for everyone in the HealthMod consortium to participate in detailed discussions about progress to date, what's working well, what might need to change or be refined, and agree on priorities for the next 6 months. High level objectives are set out below - a more detailed agenda will follow in due course.

Key Objectives

  • Review progress by assessing achievements against objectives, deliverables, and success criteria across all work packages, and by identifying any areas needing course correction to ensure successful delivery of the programme.
  • Reflect on the co‑production approaches - what has worked (and what hasn't) in collaboration between academic, policy, public, and PHI UK network partners - consider what might be enhanced for 2027.
  • Review stakeholder engagement and policy relevance, drawing on feedback from partners and policymakers to ensure the research remains responsive to evolving policy contexts, system needs, and opportunities for influence and impact.
  • Strengthen cross‑work‑package integration and coherence where appropriate, focusing on how outputs, methods, and insights are being connected into a clear, collective programme narrative rather than parallel strands of activity.
