Following on from Mobilise Roadshow Part 1 - ‘Making the Case for Change’, Part 2 "Acting on the Evidence" has been designed for Headteachers, School-Based-Lead and SENCo (or member of the SLT or Pupil Premium Lead, responsible for the deployment of TA’s). There are up to 3 places available for each school but it is particularly essential that the School-Based-Lead attends.

Part 2 will be a more interactive roadshow, led by Jonathan Sharples (Education Endowment Foundation) and Rob Webster (Institute of Education, ECL and author of Maximising the Impact of Teaching Assistants)

The content will include:

• Revisiting the 7 recommendations in depth from the perspective of changing practice
• Use of the audit tools to evaluate current provision and inform strategic planning
• Integration of interventions within the wider curriculum
• Resources that are available to assist you in the deployment
• Preparedness and practice of TA’s in your school.

We will also look at overcoming barriers and offer some more practical strategies to test. There will be input from a school-leader on implementing the evidence. You will have an opportunity to ask questions of Jonathan and Rob during the session, leaving with clarity on the next steps of the Mobilise project for your school.
