Join Hunt Forage & Feast for a very relaxed day of wild alchemy, food and drink.
We'll be running a workshop on one of our favorite subjects - WILD COCKTAILS!
The event will start at 10.30am and end at 4pm. The day will start with a short introduction followed by a guided walk around the gardens. We'll show you how to safely identify and harvest some of the ingredients required for our favourite recipes then it's back to the HFF workshop where the fun really begins!
Here you will be...
Mastering the basics of mixology - equipment, techniques and history
Making your own infusions, liqueurs and syrups
Sampling some of our own creations including Sea Buckthorn liqueur and Japanese Knotweed vodka!
Creating and tasting some of our unique cocktails from a special seasonal menu
It wouldn't be Hunt Forage & Feast without a feast so we will be cooking up some delicious treats and will make sure you are well fed throughout the day!
Arrival - Wild Canapes - Pickles, perserves and other nibbles
Lunch - Charcoal BBQ - Bunny Burgers and Wood Pigeon Kebabs
Dinner - Traditional Dutch Oven & Tripod cooking - Wild Boar Stew
We are obviously hoping for good weather but please bring suitable outdoor clothing just in case we are unlucky on the day - waterproofs, wellies etc.
The course is priced at £40 per head. Places are limited to 15 persons only so book now to avoid disappointment.
