Dress Code
Ladies
Ladies must wear a dress or skirt and blouse with a hemline below the knee. The wearing of a hat or fascinator is encouraged!
There's no rule about footwear, but wise ladies wear flat shoes because we'll mostly be walking on lawns, which can be soft ground if it has rained recently.

Gentlemen
Gentlemen must wear a jacket and tie. Suits are permitted, but blazer and flannels is customary. Typically, this means a navy blazer with white or cream flannels, but colourful sports club blazers are encouraged for those who have one.
Inside the Enclosure, gentlemen may not remove their jackets unless specific permission for that day has been announced (which is rare).
Gentlemen are also encouraged to wear hats (typically a straw boater or panama), but this is not obligatory, and "hatlessness" would stand out less than for the ladies.
