This training is intended for Year 2 teachers who will be undertaking the Phonics Screening check in Autumn 2020.  It will help with:

• Understanding age related expectations for Year 1 pupils in phonics

• Reviewing strategies and interventions to support pupils in reaching these expectations

• The administration of the phonics screening check to pupils
