This training forms part of the Local Authority Statutory Moderation and Monitoring Contract offer to support schools in addressing the gaps in writing and maths that stem from the periods of lockdown that have impacted particularly on pupils in year 2 and year 3. This moderation workshop will focus on where pupils currently are and the next steps that need to be taken, in order to achieve anticipated outcomes.

Please bring examples of children’s work in writing and maths for three children from your class for each subject, working at a range between PKS and EXS.

Please note we expect people to work in pairs across year 2 and year 3. This workshop is particularly useful for infant and junior schools but is open to all.
