What Matters Most: Patient Outcomes Online Learning Event

What you need to know

The event will be chaired by Ms Rantimi Ayodele, Acting Chief Medical Officer. Our theme for this event is ‘Improving health outcomes by focusing on prevention’.

Presentations include:

·       Prevention and lifestyle medicine in the context of value, health inequalities and whole sector responsibility - Dr Rachna Chowla, Joint Director of Clinical Strategy  King's Health Partners

·       Prevention in context of KCH strategy – Julie Lowe, Deputy Chief Executive, KCH

·       Lifestyle medicine to prevent ill health and improve health outcomes – Dr Shireen Kassam, Consultant Haematologist, KCH and Lifestyle Medicine Physician

·       Plant-based diets to improve health and environmental outcomes and help to achieve the Trust's BOLD strategy - including pandemic risk – Dr Laura-Jane Smith, Consultant Respiratory Physician, KCH

The event is open to all staff and will be useful in terms of methodology and approach for all speciality areas. There will be a Q&A session towards the end of the event.
