The LGT Leadership Forum once again brings you a bespoke session just for LGT staff. This session focuses on Emotionally Intelligent Leadership.

Emotional intelligence (EI) supports good relationships, wellbeing, job satisfaction and professional effectiveness. EI is an integral leadership quality as it can help you have better relationships with others, better self-management skills and foster the ability to get things done when outcomes and relationships are equally important. This is a practical session where you will be given frameworks and tools to develop yourself to help you better understand and motivate others in your team. 

The session will be facilitated by NHS Elect and will take place on 10.30am - 11.30am on Tuesday 14th May 2024. As it is a skills-focused and interactive session, the number of places available are limited - so please only book your ticket if you are definitely able to attend. Please make sure that you are in a private space where you can contribute and interact in the breakout groups. 

The Leadership Forum sessions will enable attendees to meet other leaders from across the Trust; to share and reflect on your leadership challenges; and learn about a leadership concept or skill that you can put into practice. The sessions will be offered virtually, to maximise the opportunity to connect across both sites, interweaved with face-to-face networking sessions where leaders can connect in person.
