London Historical Fencing Club

London Historical Fencing Club (LHFC) are participating in multiple events to try and encourage genders that are underrepresented in HEMA to try it out for themselves. Cis-Men are the most common gender in martial arts in general, including HEMA, and we are working with global organisations like Esfinges and QT HEMA to address this problem and try and encourage people of other genders to join in.

These tickets are available to anyone who considers themselves trans or non-binary. You will be joining a mixed-gender and mixed-ability class, and will be given instruction in how to use fence in the style you have chosen. We are also running a session at Trans Pride Brighton if you would prefer an introduction to fencing that will not be in a mixed environment.

Signing up for this ticket does not commit you to taking further lessons with LHFC. If you do want to continue, we will be opening up a number of spaces in all of our classes for people who attended this event. We will send out details on how to sign up for this after the event to all attendees.

If for any reason you sign up to the event and cannot attend, please do inform us immediately. There are a limited number of tickets and we will recycle any drop outs to a waiting list, so if you sign up and don't attend someone else will have missed out needlessly.

LHFC will only use the data you submit here for the purposes of managing the event and follow up from it. This includes sending you any updates or confirmations related to the event and sharing a feedback  and signup forms with you after the event. We will not include it in a contact database or use it for any marketing purposes in future.
