Give a Girl a Sword: London Historical Fencing Club 2018

London Historical Fencing Club (LHFC) are providing several free classes for women and gender minorities, who are new to HEMA throughout July. Cis-Men are the most common gender in martial arts in general, including HEMA, and we are working with global organisations like Esfinges to address this problem and try and encourage people of other genders to join in.

These tickets are available to any women or people from a gender minority. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes cis or trans women, trans men and non-binary people.

You are only allowed 1 free ticket across all of our events. Signing up for this free ticket does not commit you to taking further lessons with LHFC, but you are welcome to attend later classes in the month (with the same or a different weapon) or subsequent months at our usual rate if you wish to (£10 each for the first 2 lessons and £15 after that). There is no need to book for those classes, just come along if you have enjoyed yourself and want to continue.

If for any reason you sign up to the event and cannot attend, please do inform us immediately. There are a limited number of tickets and we will recycle any drop outs to a waiting list, so if you sign up and don't attend someone else will have missed out needlessly.

LHFC will only use the data you submit here for the purposes of managing the event. This includes sending you any updates or confirmations related to the event and sharing a feedback form with you after the event. We will not include it in a contact database or use it for any marketing purposes in future.
