The seminar will be led by the MetGDC with assistance from current and former MetDepGDCs, and is aimed at all lodge and chapter DCs but particularly those who are comparatively new in office.
It will cover a number of topics including the role of the DC, how to ‘put the candidate first’, division of ritual, preparing for a meeting, the festive board, and the precedence of Grand Officers. There will also be some time allocated for questions.
There will be no refreshments at this event and so there is no charge for attendance. No regalia is required; the seminar will start as soon after 6.30pm as a room becomes available (please be in the Café at Freemasons’ Hall for 6.30pm) and will conclude no later than 8.30pm.
