What you need to know
The second concert of the Metropolitan Masonic Subscription Concert Series will be held at 19:00 in Freemasons' Hall on Thursday September 10th in the presence of Russell J Race, JP, DL, the Metropolitan Grand Master and Sir David Wootton, the Assistant Grand Master.
The programme will be two very tuneful pieces, the Mozart clarinet quintet in A major K 581 and the Schumann piano quintet, in Eb major Op. 44, interspersed with some favourite poetry. The music is being performed by students of the Royal Academy of Music and the poetry by a series of senior London Freemasons. The programme will end with a surprise - an arrangement for string quartet of pieces by a past Grand Organist.
The concert is open to the general public, who will have the rare opportunity of attending a concert in Freemasons' Hall.
Proceeds will go to charity. Complimentary wine and canapés will be served at the interval.
