This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 9–18 November 2023. Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy. This event uses storytelling to facilitate public engagement with research findings related to language, cultural and ethnic differences in a multicultural society. The event provides a platform to share research findings with the public, and to facilitate conversations on using a decolonial lens to examine assumptions about identities in a multicultural world.

The event is led by the Race and Inclusivity in Global Education Network (RIGEN), Moray House School of Education and Sport, University of Edinburgh, in collaboration with Beunited and Fruitmarket.
