A five-day on-line masterclass, aimed at members of the security industry who wish to develop their knowledge of current and future security systems, applications and underpinning academic theory.

From 0900-1100

The topics will include:

From Security Risk Assessment to Security Risk Audit. On day one delegates will be taken through the journey from the initial Security Risk Assessment, the Security Survey and finally the Security Audit. This session will also cover the criticality of the Operational Requirement.

Criminology and Crime Prevention. Day two will include topics such as Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and Situational crime Prevention (SCP). There will also be a presentation on layered security, before finishing with a session on Open?Source Intelligence (OSINT).

Education and Standards in the Security Industry. Day three will cover Professionalisation through accreditation, integration and delivery of security systems, and security product standards.

Control of access. On day four, delegates will be introduced to Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Perimeter protection and Access control.

Integrated Technology and questions and answers. The final day will focus on technology detection and protection, and cyber-attack methodology.

The week will end with a Question-and-Answer session attended by all presenters.
