Prosecco Cricket, the latest craze to take Lancashire women by storm is looking to engage local women in cricket offering a fun, social and fast paced evening of softball cricket.
6 a side, so just you and 5 mates.
All equipment provided, no pads/helmets needed as it will be played with a softball.
A full run down of the basic rules will be explained before we start.
Free glass of Prosecco (or non-aloholic alternative) on arrival and a choice of an item of food from our BBQ afterwards. We will also have a dedicated Prosecco bar during the night, if the initial free one wets your appetite for a few more cheeky ones.
Don’t forget you don’t need any experience of cricket, its softball and no pads or whites are needed. Just your trainers is fine. Its 6 a side and your entry ticket gets you a free glass of Prosecco and an item of food of your choice from our BBQ afterwards.
The cricket club bar will be open and a BBQ will be available throughout the evening.
Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.

The Clubhouse at Pendle Forest Sports Club is
located off the A6068 by-pass road (Barrowford
Road) in Fence. The easiest route is to come off the
M65 at junction 13 (Barrowford/Nelson) and take
the left immediately after the Thatch and Thistle pub
passing the athletic track on your left hand side.
Go straight across the small round-a-bout and travel
along the road for approx 1¼ mile – the two storey
Clubhouse, which is painted yellow, is
on the left hand side immediately before Cuckstool
Lane (B6248 which links Fence to Brierfield). There
is an off-road car park.
