What you need to know
Gong Spa and The Yard bring you A Gong Bath In The Mines At Alderley Edge!
An amazingly unique event in which you'll be able to enjoy and benefit from the beautiful sounds and harmonising vibrations of the gongs in the atmospheric and ancient copper mines in this gorgeous location famous for its high energies and magical associations. A gong bath brings you into the present moment where you may experience states akin to day-dreaming, meditation and deep sleep, and where you may become re-associated with your inner being, while old tensions and blockages are released. A deeply harmonising experience, you may find it relaxing, energising, rejuvenating.... it all depends on who you are on the day..... but rest assured that between the beauty of the sounds, the richness of the vibrations and the intelligence of your own body, you will be touched by the re-balancing effects of this beautiful experience.
We will provide camping mats you can lay down on, but please bear in mind that it is cold in the mines, and the floor will be bumpy too, so it's essential that you bring a pillow and lots of warm clothing and/or a sleeping bag.
We'll bring some lovely tea for afterwards to warm us up while we take a moment to come back around before heading back out into the world.
Meet us at 3 o'clock outside the Wizard Pub on Sunday the 10th July where we'll be kitted out with hard hats and lights by the lovely Bill Booth of the Derbyshire Caving Club, and then we'll head on in to the mines together.
The event will finish at around 5pm and costs £20 per person.
