An evening of lighting, control, live demonstrations and good conversation, right in the heart of Norwich.

City College Norwich | Thursday 5th November 2026

Join Robe, Avolites and ETS as we take over City College Norwich for an evening designed for the East Anglian lighting and production community.

You'll be able to get hands on with the latest technology, see it working, talk directly to the teams behind it and catch up with others working across theatre, live production and education in the region.

Fresh from PLASA 2026, we'll be bringing plenty to explore, including one of the first opportunities in the East of England to experience Robe's new wash lights and the Arianne series, alongside theatre fixtures, RoboSpot systems and the latest from Avolites control.

And we are not keeping everything inside.

As darkness falls, we will take advantage of the November evening and move outside, using areas of the college campus to put Robe's IP65-rated fixtures to work in a real outdoor environment.

Whether you want to get behind an Avolites console, see Arianne for yourself, explore the latest Robe fixtures, ask the technical teams some difficult questions or simply catch up with people from the industry, come and spend the evening with us.

Lighting designers, programmers, technicians, venue teams, educators and students are all very welcome.

It’s free to attend, and we would love to see you there.

Come and explore at your own pace.

Get hands on with Robe and Avolites technology, meet the Robe, Avolites and ETS teams and spend time with the kit you're interested in.

What to expect:

• The new Robe Arianne series
• Latest Robe lighting technology following PLASA 2026
• Avolites control demonstrations and hands on opportunities
• RoboSpot systems
• Theatre lighting
• Outdoor IP65 demonstrations after dark
• Plenty of time to ask questions, talk shop and catch up with the community

Timings:

• 6:00pm: Doors open
• 6:00pm - 8:00pm: Throughout the evening we will be running informal demonstrations, giving you a closer look at what's new, what it can do and where it could fit into your work.

Come for the technology. Stay for the conversation.
