Dear all,
You are all warmly invited to the next screening of the SMLC Film Club, which is quickly becoming an institution!
This time we will be traveling (dare we say, tripping?!) to 1970s Italy, with Renato de Maria's Paz! (2002). This comedy reflects on youth culture, relationships, and politics in the 'punk capital' of Italy, Bologna. The story is based on the life and work of graphic novelist Andrea Pazienza, a counter-culture symbol.
Some trigger warnings for this screening are: explicit language and scenes, including scenes of a sexual nature and drug abuse.
The screening will take place on Wednesday 21st February in Adam Smith 718. Doors open at 5.50pm, screening starts at 6.00pm.
We will also be providing some refreshments so please could you register your attendance using the Bookitbee link below so we can make sure we order sufficient wine and popcorn etc !
We look forward to seeing you there!
The SMLC Film Club Team 🙂
