On board. Starting Port Hamble Marina, Hamble, United Kingdom
Designed specifically as a milebuilder, this 3-day trip will provide you with an opportunity to log additional tidal and offshore miles whilst having fun. You can expect longer and overnight passages, to experience watch systems and cooking whilst at sea. A great way to build on an RYA Day Skipper or RYA Coastal Skipper qualification before attempting the RYA/MCA Yachtmaster exam.
Whilst
the actual destination will always depend on the weather, the aim of the 3-day
trip is to head across the Channel to France, or alternative routes include heading down to the West Country.
If these dates don't work for you, see our Milebuilder Calendar here.
The cruise will start from our Port Hamble Marina base. There will be a maximum of 6 crew onboard. This isn't an RYA course but there will be a qualified RYA Instructor onboard providing training and coaching. You will join the yacht on Sunday evening in order to enjoy a full day of sailing on Monday.
3-days of sailing, all mooring fees, instructor and food on board whilst sailing. Waterproofs available to hire.
RYA Day Skipper certificate preferred but some sailing experience essential.
