Sailing Logic - RYA Sea Survival Course
It is a well-proven fact that in an emergency at sea, people with good training are more likely to survive.
As well as a classroom session covering procedures to follow in case of a survival situation the RYA Sea Survival Course includes an invaluable practical session in a nearby swimming pool. You will experience first hand the difficulties of climbing into a liferaft whilst fully kitted out in foul weather gear and inflated lifejacket and will learn many simple, but effective survival techniques.
This RYA Sea Survival course is a must for anyone going to sea and could save your life one day.
This one-day course is an essential pre-requisite to the Commericially Endorsed RYA Yachtmaster and also contributes to one of the modules of the ISAF/RYA Offshore Safety Course, which is a requirement for many offshore races.
A one-day course, run from our dedicated classroom in Port Hamble on a Saturday or Sunday (9am start), with the practical session in a nearby swimming pool.
