Refunds / Cancellations
If you wish to cancel or make changes to your booking, please contact Sailing Logic on 023 8033 0999 or info@sailinglogic.co.uk.
Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the event starts are eligible for a 75% refund.
Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the start date are not eligible for a refund, but please contact us. you should ensure you have cancellation cover as part of your travel insurance
 
A minimum of 6 course participants are required for the course to run. In the event of the course being cancelled by Sailing Logic Events Ltd, we will endeavour to find an alternative event for you on the same dates, alternative dates to which you agree or we will issue you with a full refund for the course fee paid. Additional travel or accommodation costs incurred by you are not covered, so you should ensure you make flexible arrangements or have suitable travel insurance.
 
Right Of Refusal
Based on the medical information you provide to us, we may seek further medical advice or adapt the course slightly to accommodate you and we reserve the right to refuse your booking. In most cases a medical condition will not prevent you from taking part, but we simply ensure that the skipper is aware of any conditions and how to treat them. In the unlikely event we refuse your booking, you will receive a full refund.

Insurance
Our events include public liability, death and permanent disablement cover. For minor injuries, loss of possessions or cancellation you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance suitable for your needs.  Topsail Insurance is an example of a company who provide short term and annual policies including yacht racing cover

Use of Your Personal Data.

Sailing Logic will keep a copy of all the information you provide to us in your booking form. In addition, some of your details will be provided to the event skipper and first mate in accordance with our safety policy. If you wish to review / change the information we hold about you, please contact us.

This is how we use your personal data:

• Mobile telephone number. We only use your mobile number to contact you with queries relating to your booking, to advise you of changes to the published programme or to contact you on the day if you are running late, to see if we can offer travel advice.  You will not be contacted for marketing purposes. Your number will be provided to the skipper. It will not not be passed or sold to any other third party. 
  
• Email address. We will use your email address to contact you with more course information as your course approaches. If you opt-in to receive further information from us, we will use your email address to send you our e-newsletter.  If you do not wish to receive the newsletter but still wish to be kept informed of relevant courses, we will keep your email address on file to contact you with regard to suitable opportunities. Your email address will never be sold. 
  
• Home address. Your address may be required to process credit/debit card payments, and occasionally we need to post out course information, lost property or gifts. Your address details will never be sold or disclosed.
  
• Emergency contact details. A copy of your emergency contact details will be given to the event skipper. These people will not be contacted except in an emergency. 
  
• Health/dietary comments. A copy of any special requirements you have will be kept on file and given to your skipper.
