I understand and acknowledge that by entering into this event I agree to abide by the standard Terms and Conditions of entry in their entirety. 

I will follow the Marshals' instructions.

I agree that by taking part in the Abbott Antler Run, I have chosen to run entirely at my own risk and I will not hold the organisers of Simon’s Heroes or event sponsors responsible for any accidents, injury, illness or damage as a consequence of my participation in the event. Neither are they responsible for any of my personal property lost, stolen or damaged.

I recognise that this is an outdoor event and therefore subject to various weather conditions and that I should prepare for the conditions on that day accordingly.

I will only participate if I am fit enough to the distance selected.

I will advise the organisers of any medical condition that I wish them to be aware of.

I accept that my photograph or my child’s photograph may be taken and used by Simon’s Heroes for advertising purposes.

Use of your personal information:

We will store your data securely and may use it to contact you about this event or to inform you of similar events that may be of interest to you.  We do not make the contact details of our database available to other unaffiliated companies for their marketing purposes, unless specific consent for such transfer to third party affiliates has been received from you.  You will always have the option to unsubscribe from further communications.

COURSE SAFETY

Please be considerate to the park and other park users at all times.

Children under the age of eleven must be accompanied (within arm's reach) throughout the event by a parent, guardian or appropriate adult of the parent's choice.

Take care near roads and car parks – some vehicles drive very quickly. Please congregate away from the cars and be careful in particular if you have children.

Take care on uneven surfaces – whether on grass or on tarmac. Watch out for cyclists, other participants, pedestrians, children, dogs, wildlife, park animals, vehicles, park maintenance work, falling branches, bollards, posts and other obstacles around the course.

Please ensure that you are fit enough to walk, jog, run 5k (3.1 miles) with us.

The course uses shared paths, please give way to other park users.

If you see someone with a serious problem, please stop to help them out and get help as soon as possible.

If you’re watching, keep clear of participants on the course, and look after any children and dogs you may have with you.

It is not permitted to run with a dog.

Lyme Disease is a bacterial infection spread to humans by infected ticks. Consider protecting yourself by wearing repellent when at parkrun events in grassy or wooded areas. See lymediseaseuk.com for further details.

Pushing buggies are welcome, but please take care of others around you and do your best to start at an appropriate place in the field for your pace.
