HARRY POTTER THEMED CUPCAKE MASTERCLASS

Do you share our love of all things magical AND all things cupcake? Why not join us for a fun session learning how to turn your home-baked treats into wonderful works of art. During the three-hour workshop, you'll be provided with everything you need to learn how to create cupcakes to impress!

Liz, who bakes and hand-decorates all of our cupcakes, will let you into her baking secrets and you get to take home a beautiful dozen cupcakes that you have created.

What to expect: ◦

• You'll be provided with all the equipment to make cupcakes to impress
• You will be given generous dozen 'naked' Simply Scrumptious cupcakes ready for you to dress up (children's ticket holders will decorate the cupcakes with their grown up) 
• Liz will demonstrate the secrets to making perfectly light and fluffy buttercream icing every time
• Learn to colour and pipe buttercream 
• Make a selection of themed cupcake toppers inspired by the Harry Potter books and movies

◦Tea, coffee and delicious home-baked treats will be provided  

◦This class is has a maximum of 6 students (including the grown ups) to give you plenty of space and so that you get full attention from Liz throughout

This class is suitable for adults and children (7+) and every one inbetween. All children need to be accompanied by a full paying adult (at least 1 adult to 2 children). Children will decorate 12 cupcakes with their grown-up. Young people on student tickets will receive their own 12 cupcakes, whether they bring a grown-up or not!

All ingredients, materials and refreshments are provided.

I'm Liz and I home bake and hand decorate every one of Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes' delicious organic cakes and cupcakes, and have done since 2010!

I offer a huge range of classic and unusual flavour-combinations including Madagascan vanilla, black bottom and red velvet. I even create cupcakes using foraged ingredients such as meadowsweet and elderflower.

I only ever use local free range eggs and choose to use organic, local, British and Fairtrade ingredients wherever possible. 

I have been running cupcake decorating classes in Eccleshall since February 2012. These small classes provide a lovely fun and relaxed atmosphere where you will learn to create beautiful sugarpaste models and fabulous piping techniques to make your cakes stand out at home.

I have also written a cupcake recipe book : Simply Scrumptious Cupcakes by Liz Berwick, available from Amazon, online with your booking, or at my classes .

I can also provide a quote for private baking and decorating classes and decorating parties on request.These cost £199 for a class for 1 person or £250 for 2, with a 20% discount for mid-week workshops. For this I provide 3.5-4 hour tuition, all  recipes, equipment and ingredients are included in the price.
