In this three-hour workshop, you’ll:
Identify 10+ local and introduced plants in the Nillumbik Shire
Learn to recognise common animals and signs of their presence
Explore the uses of plants for food, medicine, and natural fibres
Practice wildcrafting safety—what to avoid and how to forage responsibly
Reawaken your senses through simple rewilding practices
Harvest herbs and make a take-home compress featuring aromatic kunzea
We’ll finish by gathering around the fire to eat lunch—please bring something along to enjoy together.
