2025 VMR International presents the Phil Booth GP at Silverstone RCMCC 11th-13th April 

Friday doors open at 11am practice starts at 12noon

Saturday 8am-6pm (2wd)

Sunday 8am-6pm (4wd)

VMR have been chosen to put on this meeting to commemorate and celebrate the RC life of Phil Booth who sadly passed away in 2024, Phil has been a massive part of the UK RC family for years and has been a very important part and instrumental in Schumachers success over many years in many classes at world and European level.

The meeting will be run to iconic regulations but will have the addition to allow later cars to be used in 2wd and 4wd classes.

2wd classes

Pre 88

89-93

94-current  Note!! Must be rear motor and manufactured kit only No home built hybrid cars)

4wd classes

Pre 88 (30 entries)

89-93 (70 entries)

94-09 (30 entries)

Motor limit: 10.5t in both 2wd & 4wd

Control tyre: Schumacher yellow honeycomb tyres on front and rear axles in both classes only.
Note: no additive or tyre cleaners are allowed anyone found to be using them will be asked to leave the meeting.

Track will be  multi surface

Finals on both days with be bump up finals (2 to bump up and all finals will be 10 cars and will be 5min duration apart from A finals will be 7min duration.

Trophies
1. Phil Booth championship cups to awarded to winner of the main finals
2. will be awarded to top 10 places in all A finals 
3. Concourse on 2wd & 4wd days
Entry fee: £25 per car per class

This meeting will be put on the RC calendar every year from now on, Phil is not with us anymore but VMR will honour him and the Booth name will live on for years to come.
