Hello EAS students !

This Saturday, 27th July, come join us for a walk around the West End of Glasgow!

We will begin our tour at 10:30am, meeting at the Hetherington Building at the University of Glasgow.

The West End of Glasgow is renowned for its iconic streets and locations and we will be visiting some of these including:

• University’s Iconic Main Building: A chance to admire the stunning architecture of our historic university.
• Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens: Explore the beautiful gardens and glasshouses.
• Ashton Lane: Visit this charming cobbled street, known for its vibrant restaurants and bars.
• Kelvingrove Park: Enjoy a stroll through this scenic park.
• Kelvingrove Museum: Conclude the tour with a visit to this renowned museum, featuring an organ recital.

We hope to see you there for a day filled with exploration and fun!

Further info: 

- We will be meeting at the University of Glasgow Hetherington Building at 10:30am to set off shortly after. 

- There are lots of options to buy food in the West End of Glasgow, but you are welcome to bring any snacks or lunch if you prefer. 

- Please wear clothing suitable for walking, especially a raincoat in case it rains !
