Somatic Workshops with Kath Revell, aka Ninja Granny

Somatics is natural, functional movement, done lying on the floor. The aim is to release tension, which is the root of muscular pain, and to regain control of your muscles, so you can move freely and easily. Instead of stretching we use a technique called "pandiculation", which involves contracting and then slowly releasing the muscles. It is pleasurable and feels a bit like yawning. 

Please bring a mat and a cushion.
