Suitable for ages 18 and above.
Yin yoga is a slower paced more meditative practice while in Yin Yoga the poses are held for a longer period of time, typically 3 to 5 minutes. It target’s the deepest tissue of the body, our connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones the fascia networks of the body and meridians.
This in contrast to Yang Yoga practice such as vinyasa yoga which targets the muscles.
Some of the benefits of a regular Yin Yoga practice can include.
Calms and balances the mind and body.
Reduces stress and anxiety .
Increases circulation
Improves flexibility
Releases fascia and improve joint mobility
Balances the internal organs and improves the flow of chi of prana.
Class in the hall will be a prop based practice, where I will support your individual needs.
All abilities welcome.
Bring: Please wear comfortable clothes, bring a blanket and a yoga mat.
