Hosted by Stephanie Osztreicher Movement, this intensive is for anyone curious about the art of clowning or simply wanting to reconnect with their playful side.

Across the weekend, you’ll dive into the state of play and explore devising techniques through engaging activities and dynamic exercises. You will experiment with physical movement, improvisation, and the joy of discovery as you begin shaping your own unique clown.

The intention is that you will leave feeling inspired, energised, and equipped with fresh tools to enrich your performance practice—and your sense of play.

Who is this workshop for?

For performing arts professionals, students, and amateurs who wish to practice and gain tools for physical storytelling. Everyone is welcome to come and learn something new or polish your old skills. 

What should I bring?

A water bottle, comfortable movement attire, a towel if you are prone to sweat, and a notebook should you wish to record your experience.

What footwear should I wear?

The venue has a no-shoe policy in the studios. You may bring socks with grip or indoor only shoes if desired.

Are there food options available for lunch?

The venue does not have any food availible: however, there are many food options within walking distance. Filtered water is available in the building.
