Our next session is the HALLOWEEN PARTY, here at Lotts Wood, near Amersham. 
This will be two-three hours of fun and games for ages 6+ lead by qualified British Cycling Coaches. 

Please meet at 4pm to register and be ready to ride for 4:15 am. The session will finish at the latest 7pm. Please make sure you bring LIGHTS, drinks and snacks, helmet and gloves - and appropriate clothing for the conditions. Knee pads are also required due to the flinty nature of the terrain. We also strongly recommend elbow pads, although this is not a requirement.

Can you also please take a few minutes before coming to check the rider’s helmet fits properly and the bike is in good working order. Riders should be using a mountain bike or a hybrid fitted with gears and treaded tyres. Ideally bikes should have flat (not SPD-type) pedals. Please make sure there is no loose clothing or shoe laces that could be caught on the bike.

Lights are essential for this even as it WILL BE DARK - head-torches or helmet lights work best for the riders.

There will be vegetarian and meat hot dogs - served during the session for both riders and parents.

The cost of the session is FREE for Summit member riders and £10 for non-Summit members. This cost is to help cover the cost of leasing the land from the Forestry Commission and to carry out maintenance work. New/potential members should email us before the session to complete a Parental Consent Form. 

All our coaches are either qualified British Cycling L2 MTB coaches (or are training to reach this qualification) and are First Aid trained and fully DBS checked.
