With our dog-friendly policy, your furry friends are more than welcome to join in on the adventure too! As we make our way along the routes of his old haunts, you'll learn all about Ted's life and inspiration behind his literary masterpieces. Relax in the Stables Café in the lovely Baysgarth House, a Grade II listed museum in the beautiful Baysgarth Park, with the promise of tasty food or an ice cream. So grab your walking shoes and come discover the magic of Ted Lewis with us!

We have a small adjacent car park and roadside parking available at the Centre. Buses from Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe stop on Ferriby Road near the Centre. Trains connect via Hull Paragon Station; Barton Terminus serves trains on the Barton Line. Check times on Stagecoach (buses) and Trainline (rail).
