Thayer Academy

Registrations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, in the order they are received. After successfully paying for a ticket, you will receive a confirmation letter and may access the online Camp Thayer Parent Handbook.

Once your registration has been processed, any reduction or cancellation of enrollment will result in the forfeit of your deposit. After June 10th, no part of the tuition will be canceled or refunded in the event of any absence, withdrawal, or dismissal from the program. This applies to all camp programs, including Extended Day, and transportation. You may sign up for our Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) at a cost of $10 per camper per week. The plan pays part of the unused tuition for the number of consecutive days missed, if that number is greater than four. Tuition will be reimbursed as follows:

  • Medical absence or withdrawal (requires a physician’s note): 75%
  • Non-medical (voluntary) withdrawal: 60%
  • Dismissal: 90%

To request a refund from the plan, you must apply in writing to the Camp Office, indicating the days missed, and the reason for your child’s absence. If you choose to enroll in the TRP, the cost of coverage will be added to your bill. You may elect to waive it by signing and returning the waiver form with your payment (minus the cost of the plan premium). Your account will be credited accordingly.
