What you need to know

Why are the All Blacks the best team in the world?

They have the most skilful players who back themselves to execute their skill set.

For the past four years the All Blacks have been world leaders in skill development. In this workshop, Mike shows how to transform the way your team can play by focusing on what’s important: player improvement.

What is the best source of ball in the modern game?

...Ball from unstructured situations when defences are disorganised.

What did both the Hurricanes and Highlanders have in common in 2015? Aside from being Super Rugby finalists they both created more unstructured attacking opportunities than any other teams.

A four and a half hour, theory-led session is the foundation for sixty minutes on the field. This 4.5-hour workshop will guide participants through three core topics:

What is unstructured play?

How do we coach it?

How do we change the mindsets of our players to exploit unstructured situations?
